Covid-19: Grocery Stores Help Out

With Covid-19 affecting nearly all aspects of life, times are a little scary right now, especially for our senior population.  However, we are a strong community and many grocery stores are doing their part to help our high-risk populations feel safer when shopping. Here’s what some of our local stores are offering…

+ COSTCO – Senior Hours
Tuesdays & Thursdays from 8am – 9am

+ SMITH’S – Senior Hours
Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays from 7AM-8AM

+ SAVE MART – Senior Hours
Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6am – 9am

+ RALEY’S – Senior Essential Bags
Two discounted grocery bags available to purchase for seniors, one that’s $20 with a random selection of pantry goods and produce, and one that’s $35 with ready-to-eat meals.  For more information visit their website here https://www.raleys.com/senior-essentials-bag/

These hours apply to people 60 and older and most stores are also allowing other high-risk people to shop during these hours as well, such as women who are pregnant.

If you know of any other stores/businesses in our local community offering help to seniors please let us know in the comments. Also feel free to share this so we can get the word out!
